Building an Integrated Ecosystem
Over the years, he led the development of a 75-acre residential campus in Modinagar, envisioned as a fully integrated education and healthcare environment. The institution expanded its academic offerings across dental sciences, engineering, Ayurveda, pharmacy, and paramedical education, supported by multi-specialty hospitals. This created a comprehensive ecosystem for both learning and healthcare delivery.
He played a defining role in the transformation of Modinagar from an industrial town into a recognised education destination in Western Uttar Pradesh. His efforts contributed significantly to improving access to quality medical education and healthcare, particularly for underserved and rural communities. Community service and social responsibility were embedded into the institution’s ethos from its inception.
Legacy & Continuing Impact
His vision continues to guide the institution’s future development, including plans for a medical college and a 1,000-bed hospital under the larger DJ Medicity initiative. His founding principles—quality education, ethical practices, and community upliftment—remain central to the DJ Group’s direction.
Even after his untimely passing in 2016, the DJ Group of Institutions has remained steadfast in its commitment to his vision, continuing to expand its impact across education and healthcare. Shri. Ajit Singh Jassar’s legacy endures through the institutions he established, which continue to contribute meaningfully to education, healthcare, and regional development.
